As the founder of The Curve Cult, I’ve had the incredible privilege of working with so many beautiful plus-size individuals over the years. From curating collections to running a retail store, my mission has always been to provide access to plus-size clothing while creating a safe and empowering space for fat people to embrace their bodies. But as many of you know, I recently closed the retail store, and now, it’s time to share what comes next.

Why a Styling Suite?

The answer is simple: my favorite part of running The Curve Cult store was always the one-on-one connections I made with customers. I cherished the moments where I could help someone find the perfect outfit that made them feel seen, confident, and empowered. I realised that my passion lies in going deeper with each person—offering more personalised advice, more body-positive guidance, and an opportunity to style for real, everyday moments.

This Styling Suite is a natural evolution of The Curve Cult. It allows me to focus not just on selling clothes, but on helping plus-size individuals connect with their bodies and express themselves through fashion, no matter where they are on their fat acceptance journey.

Fat-Positive Styling: Redefining Style for Plus-Size Bodies

We know that the world of style and fashion often excludes plus-size bodies. There’s an unspoken set of "rules" that plus-size people are expected to follow—rules that limit self-expression and reinforce outdated standards of beauty. But my fat-positive styling method, which I developed through years of working in the store, throws those rules out the window.

With the Styling Suite, my goal is simple: I want you to understand that there are no rules. You have the power to wear what you want, how you want, and to express yourself authentically, with no apologies. I want you to get out of your head and into your body, finding joy in clothing that makes you feel amazing.
This isn’t about making you look "slimmer" or "fit in." It’s about using fashion as a tool to connect with your body, embrace your uniqueness, and truly love the skin you’re in.

What Services Will the Styling Suite Offer?

The Styling Suite will be rolling out a variety of services designed to help plus-size individuals explore fashion in new ways:

  • Saree Draping Workshop: This will be our first offering—a seasonal service to help you confidently wear sarees that celebrate your curves.
  • Personal Shopping: Need help finding clothes that fit well and reflect your style? We’ll curate options from brands all over the world, especially small businesses committed to inclusivity.
  • Event Styling: Special occasions deserve special outfits. We’ll help you create looks that feel glamorous and true to you.
  • Wardrobe Consultations: If you’re stuck with a wardrobe full of clothes but don’t know how to style them, this service will guide you through maximizing what you already have.
What makes the Styling Suite different from what The Curve Cult used to offer is that my advice will no longer be limited to the clothes we carried in-store. I’ll be introducing you to global plus-size brands, with a special focus on supporting small businesses that share our values of fat positivity and inclusivity.

Who Is the Styling Suite For?

The Styling Suite is for my existing plus-size clientele who are ready to make an investment—not just financially, but emotionally. It’s for people who want both an internal and external transformation. It’s for those who struggle to find clothes in their size, those who have a wardrobe but don’t know how to style it, and for anyone who is ready to look and feel amazing but doesn’t know where to begin.
If you’ve ever felt lost in your style journey, or if you’re ready to move beyond society’s limiting ideas about how plus-size people "should" dress, this service is for you. My mission is to provide you with the tools, guidance, and encouragement you need to step into your fullest, most authentic self.

Clearing Stock to Make Room for What’s Next

As part of this transition, I’ll also be clearing the remaining stock from The Curve Cult’s collections to make room for the future. These pieces represent some of our best work, and they deserve to be worn by people who will love and appreciate them. I’ll be sharing more details on how you can grab these final items at special rates in the coming weeks—so stay tuned!
